Welded Pipe to ASTM A106
SANS 1182 – is a thin wall carbon steel used to convey liquids at low temperature.
SANS 62 – is a service pipe that is available up to 150nb in Medium and Heavy wall thickness
SANS 719 – is for water and other aqueous fluids. There are 4 grades namely: A, B, C and D. Pipe is manufactured longitudinally or spirally welded, depending on the diameter.
ASTM A53 – can be used up to 190 degree Celsius. Pipes are seamless, longitudinally or spirally welded.
API 5LB – API standard for the American Pipeline Institute. Pipe is intended for use in a pipeline system in the petroleum and natural gas industries however can be used in chemical plants and potable water distribution. Pipes are seamless, longitudinally or spirally welded.

Hot-Finished Seamless Line Pipe
ASTM A106 – for elevated temperature use. There are 3 grades namely: A, B and C. Grade B is the most common, Grade A has the lowest strength and Grade C has increased carbon and manganese content to achieve the strength requiring more complex welding with requirements for pre heating and post weld heat treatment.
